Plot Post: Abandoned Manor, Week 2

Hey, you know how annoying it's been, having the Manor in disrepair and things intermittently not working and all?
You know how usually things change at the end of the week?
The good news is, things are changing!
...The bad news is, they're getting worse.
Any alterations, repairs, etc. will hold as much as would be reasonable ... although so will damage - the rooms aren't healing like they normally would. Areas that have been less traveled and worked on? May get worse - rotten floorboards, cobwebs, dust, spiders, rats; there's squirrels in the attic, and occasional ominous thumping noises.
To make things more "fun", the power is cutting out entirely. No more electricity, not even intermittently - it'll be blackout conditions in the Manor, and the place isn't exactly stocked with emergency candles. Running water is getting iffy, and may be rust-tinged or slightly dirty until/unless someone gets down to work on the pipes and figure out how to fix it and clean it up.
The weather outside is cold and drizzly, with constant fog and clouds; the woods have almost completely encroached on the grounds proper, the gardens are overgrown (although there are still some vegetables to be found), and the food stores aren't replenishing at all - foraging the forests and remains of the gardens is going to become a necessity.
To make matters more fun, besides the odd thumping in the attic, there's sometimes a sound of footsteps in empty hallways - but as soon as anyone looks or checks, there's no-one there...
