YOU'RE ON A BOAT!

This week, as the first week of a week-and-a-half plot, you all get to go on a FABULOUS LUXURY CRUISE!
...On the Titanic.
Yep.
The boat is divided into first and second class sections; second class is comfortable, first class is high luxury. The sections are kept decently segregated, but it is possible to go back and forth, and on Wednesday of this week, there will be an open log for a ball on ship! Everyone will find appropriate formal wear in their closet, although unlike past events, they won't be forced to wear it - but the NPC's will snub people who aren't dressed for the occasion, which means getting someone else to help get drinks/etc. It's a very big boat and slightly chilly on deck, but it's a nice boat. A very nice boat.
The NPC's are slightly more on the "faceless and forgettable" side; they will go through the motions of normal behavior for ship-staff-and-crew, and will respond to player questions and inquiries simplistically and about as expected for the situation. For those with powers, they're mostly intact, but attempting to do things that would change the course of the ship or going on a destructive rampage/trying to sink it early will get you nerfed, a'la nerfs of previous plots; enjoy being cute and fluffy. It's impossible to enter the helm room, as well; the door won't open, and any attempts at getting around this - the windows, etc. - will fail; the windows won't break, NPC's will only come and go when there aren't characters nearby, and things along those lines.
As the week goes on, the weather outside will get noticeably colder; those who know the history can feel free to freak out a bit, because yes, it IS headed towards its fateful meeting with an iceberg. The actual sinking will happen next Monday, with further details towards the end of the week!
For some useful links:
