Hi!

So, my awkwardness aside, I'm Emma and I'll be playing Arthur from Inception, who I shall introduce into the game the moment I stop panicking, and if anyone ever needs to contact me then my PM's always open. So, uh, hi.

When everyone wakes up this Monday, they are back in the Manor, and it's perfectly normal!

For some of you this may be a problem, since it's perfectly normal.

And you're all now Pokémon.

As described in the spoiler post, everyone wakes up transformed into a pokémon of the MUN's choice; you can basically handwave levels and assume having pretty much whatever available powers of that pokémon you want, including HM and TM moves that seem like they'd make sense. You're also NOT limited to four moves! Note that there really isn't any special alterations made for things like opposable thumbs, so things like door handles may be problematic for some. Of course, with the transformation, people's normal powers and abilities are absent. For anyone who hasn't settled on one yet, feel free to ping someone or rattle around chat, or go fishing through Bulbapedia. If your chosen species is too big for your room, you'll be waking up outside in the barn.

Outside, there's some wild pokémon in the woods, cave, desert, and around the beach, a lot of whom aren't really talkative; they're basically NPC random encounters, although the gardens and outbuildings are safe. There's occasional Pachirisu lurking around all of the above areas that seem to be max-level and act a little less random-encounter and a little more stalker-ish - they aren't going out of their way to attack people, but are stalking and watching ... always watching... The one exception is the attic; anyone going up there may find themselves zotted from about twelve directions by potent electrical attacks and waking up in their room...

On the bright side, there's an Audino NPC in the Clinic outbuilding; personality wise, she's not exactly much more than a normal NPC - she'll respond if spoken to, but it'll be fairly generic random fluffy RPG-NPC comments and offers to heal people; if anyone's injured and talks to her, they'll find themselves Heal Pulse'd back to good health, and anyone who Faints in the field will wake up in the Clinic with all injuries healed with her telling them to be more careful. (Of course, any character who has Heal Pulse or Softboiled can also serve as a healer this week.)

As for how injuries work, as much as there are things like varying levels among the "wild" random encounters and the Pachirisu are all level 100, they do register as actual injury and not just 'HP bar went down' - you can end up limping, burned, battered, etc.!

As for weather, the trees are losing their leaves, and it's starting to get chilly out; there's leaf piles scattered around the grounds, and fall leaves everywhere. (The greenhouse, of course, is still warm and in full bloom.) It's sunny at the beginning of the week, turning partly cloudy by wednesday and with scattered rain showers around Friday and the weekend.
