For the first note: yes, everyone DOES remember the events of last week! For those who were canon-shifted to the future, their memory of all of the events that led to that future and what was going on might have some hazy patches - they'll remember generalities, but not specifics, and they'll remember anything that happened during the week at the Manor.

This week, there's a special sort of change of scenery going on…

And it'll be immediately obvious as soon as everyone wakes up - the Manor's been turned into the typical sort of undersea palace you'd usually get from stories about merfolk, now carved stone and coral instead of the usual wood and carpet decor, with everything adapted for slightly more aquatic inhabitants. People's belongings will be brought over for the most part, though anything that wouldn't weather the water very well will have undergone a conversion to a form more appropriate - books might now be scrolls on waterproof material, for example, and firearms would be converted to things like small harpoon guns. Outside, various fish and sea life roam; the forest is now a kelp forest, while the desert area's become a stretch of blank sand and rock.

As for the residents and any pets? Well, they've been converted to match the change. Most human or humanlike characters will find themselves turned into a sort of mer-person equivalent of themselves; fish tails, gills, and maybe a few other features at MUN option like webbed hands or more drastic changes. The exact sort is, again, MUN option; characters from worlds different from Earth can end up with features of sea life native to their world, while blatant nonhumans could always find something a little odd about themselves to match the change. Pets, familiars, and summons that wouldn't adapt easily will also be altered to something more fitting to the environment. Of course, this being basically a fantasy shift and the Author's logic being what it is, it's possible to get not only features of sharks or aquatic reptiles, but dolphins and other sea-mammals; you'll at least still get the benefit of being able to breathe underwater.

Of course, you might want to be careful venturing out into the cave or the more wilderness areas; there's some larger than normal sea life out there, never mind more normal dangerous things like sharks and jellyfish, as well as a fairly cranky sea serpent hiding out in the cave.

If you do poke your head up above the surface, you'll find that there's a break in the winter weather - it's sunny and about what the climate would be somewhere tropical this time of year - which mostly means that it's not oppressively hot, just comfortably warm.
