Plot Post: Childhood Fears Week Returns

And now, for Childhood Fears week! Granting that not all of these are childhood...

So, for the duration of the week, starting Monday morning, the weather outside will be foggy, cloudy, and chilly! It might seem quiet, but then you leave your room...

Or if you hide in your room, there may be something trying to get in.

Basically, whatever your character feared as a kid, or barring that, what your character would be afraid of now, is made real for them this week! Banding together can help, although that also means that the characters teaming up are facing both of their respective fears. The "Fear" manifestation will, for the most part, be real to what the character's afraid of, although people/creatures may be slightly exaggerated or behaving more according to what the character's fears would expect than what would be accurate for them. If it's killed or destroyed, it'll be gone for 24 hours and then respawn, assuming it's something that would work for. It'll be prone to horror-movie-esque behavior most often - lurking around corners, appearing suddenly behind you, lying in wait, or turning up in places it shouldn't be.

For those who didn't check in on the spoiler post, feel free to get tormented anyway, however, anything that isn't listed below is assumed to be a localized thing that'll only hit your character and those directly around them! It's also possible to opt out if you genuinely can't think of something or your character's fear would level the Manor/not be a good idea to inflict on them for long-term playability.

The master list of everyone who checked in is below, starting with the ones that'll be large-scale problems:
Gokudera: Is being haunted by his sister. This means you're going to want to watch what you eat for any signs of anything unusual done to it, anything living in it/stuck in it that shouldn't be there, etc., as the kitchen is getting afflicted by Phantom-Bianchi and it will be randomly toxic. This is at MUN-option to encounter!

Sam: Killer Clowns. They'll be random encounter things spread out a little bit further than just being localized around Sam, so other people can run into them, although it'll be the worst in Sam's area. (Yes, Kaoru, the Author heard that conversation.)

Raidou: Raidou himself has the personal stalker of Shinado Abbadon, which means he'll randomly pass out, or end up with a masked apparition that most people won't see mimicking him/people around him and taunting him. The real problem comes from what comes with Shinado Abbadon - Luck Locusts, spread out over the Manor. They look like slightly large metalic-gold locusts with a strange white smiling-blank-faced mask over their "face" and head; if they can land on someone for a minute or two, the mask splits open, and there's an odd sort of bitten/something missing sensation... because they eat luck and good fortune. If you choose to be "bitten" by one, for basically the rest of the plot you become a singularity of Murphy's Law that stops just short of Final Destination levels of bad luck; everything that could conceivably go wrong will, and it will gradually build up to occasional "freak accidents".

More specific or localized around them:
Dean: Is dealing with his demons. The literal ones.

Oz: Has a personal stalker.

Kaoru: Horror-story villain! Welcome back to slasher-flick week, Kaoru!

Allen: Master Cross gone to Allen's worst-fear version.

Catherine: Hunted by ants. Perfectly valid for this to switch between giant ants and hordes of normal ones.

Rapunzel: Giant thugs with pointy teeth! There'll be a pack of them around wherever she happens to be at the time. This will be shared with Flynn.

Aoko: Less active! She's having some of her own fears of her father's absence aggravated and amplified.

Mary: Huge mutated rats the size of dogs.

Temari: To anyone interacting with her, they'll just see a large raccoon the size of a panda; to Temari, the "Raccoon" is actually Shukaku, taunting and terrorizing her.

Mukuro: Is being pursued by the Vendice. If you associate with him, be prepared for dimension-warping immortal mummified prison guards in black capes with living chains and manacles.

Alexstrasza: Opted out!

Vermouth: The island out on the lake? It's peaceful, and if you try to go out there, you'll find yourself teleported away. She's on it. Nothing is happening there. NOTHING. It's perfectly peaceful.

Saguru: Is getting hunted by a Nuckalavee. The joys of having someone tell him all the OLD fairy tales when he was little...

Of course, we'll be working on backthreading out the rescue, but it's safe to assume Kanda was, one way or another, freed by the weekend of last week.
