Plotting?

So, thanks to the whole "No seriously if we're going to do this, this needs to get sorted out", and a lack of faith in the Author's timetable, Saguru has been prodding at me to ...
Well, obv. the big public meeting's out with the plot this week, but try to get together the others involved in "peacekeeping" to try to get that ... a little more organized and less "everyone trying to do the same thing and cover the same ground".

But to try to get the rest of the people that've been volunteering/doing the "law enforcement" bit in some regard together for a meeting, in some room where the whole sunlight thing won't be a problem, like somewhere in the basement. It'd be a thread-jumping-encouraged log for those involved, and to my current knowledge, it'd be the people more officially involved...
Which, with what the boy knows IC'ly, the message would go to:
Mello, Conan, Heiji, Apollo, Mikami, Tom, Misora, and Ichabod, possibly Tris and Soma.

IF I HAVE MISSED ANYONE WHO SHOULD BE THERE, let me know, and if there's any objections to this going up/requests to put it off for later/whatever!

There will be a post going up to discuss OOC ideas/thoughts/concerns and planning for the IC event.

Due to how relatively hectic things are going to be, the actual meeting is being put off until the week after Valentine's.

I totally approve, we need to do something XD I'm running out of IC excuses for Mikami as to why they are still procastinating.

Mikami will probably be like coldcoldcoldcoldcold because Mello is around, but we're used to that, right?

Would it be alright if I volunteer Balthier forward for this meeting? Before he became a Sky Pirate he was essentially in law enforcement as an Archadian Judge.
(As proven more than once in XII the whole doing something good thing is in him, even if he'll cover it with there's something in it for him type thinking.)

Actually two things. If youre just having the meeting in a room in the basement you may as well just invite everyone to that public meeting. Or just hold the meetin at night. It would really help in minimizing the whole "manor vs meddling detectives" thing if everyone is involved from the get go. Also we really ought to have an ooc chat about the whole justice system first.

If there's an ooc chat, please let it be on a day that I can get involved. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays are my worst days.

Also I would like to say, I agree with what you said about the whole of the Manor versus the part. This way, those characters that aren't part of the law enforcement can at least be a part of it and it would help prevent bitter muses. (Namely those that like getting involved for the greater good but don't know how to.)

I think I might just ... edit/repost so that we can do something like a live chat on Friday or Saturday, and then people who can't make it for whatever reason can throw their two cents in on a post.

That is a good plan.
