For the first week of October, we're bringing back a previous Halloween-period plot: childhood fears week!
For the week, your character will be haunted and stalked by one of their fears. If there's a monster movie that scared them as a kid, etc.? It's real now! Of course, it doesn't have to be that abstract - it can also be something that legitimately terrified them when they were little. Of course, not everyone has a "childhood fear" per se; there is the option of having your character haunted by something more recent.
While the fear is a plot-thing, it is, for all intents and purposes, PERFECTLY REAL, albeit some of them may be capable of some horror-movie-esque behavior - showing up suddenly around corners, etc; if a character tries to hide in their room all week, their fear will turn up there, too. If they're defeated, they'll regenerate within 24 hours and be right back to stalking, as well. Characters who band together will be facing the fears of both people involved!
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO A PLOTTING TAG HERE, particularly if the "Fear" is something that may end up spreading to affect more people - a few of them may not be quite so contained as to only bother their target, and we plan on including those in the plot post!
