Blind Date Meme

So the idea is your character has been set up on a blind date. Here be the rules:

1. Post with your character and their location [i.e. a restaurant or amusement park or what have you.]
2. People tag the post as your character's blind date
3. And because this is a meme they MUST go on the date.
4. Both parties know they are being set up on a date.

And now Duck must go to bed because she has to go to work at SIX THIRTY IN THE BLOODY MORNING tomorrow. >>

[He plops down in the swing, wrapping his arms around the chains. He glances at her through curtains of greasy hair.]

No.

THen scram. I'm waitin' for some sort of blind date fucker.

[He glances around.]

I don't see anyone else. It's probably me. Oh yes, I'm just as thrilled as you are.

...Ew.

I don't wanna date you. Fuck, I was just gonna make this fucker take me for ice cream and ditch him, but I don't even wanna go that far with you.

Then don't. It's not that complicated.

Great, then leave. I'm swinging here.

[He doesn't leave, instead just pulls his wand out, and with a flick of it a book soars from a distance away into his hand. He opens it and begins to read.]

Then swing.

...Don't boss me around, oil bucket.

[but after a few moments of growling and glaring, she turns her head and pushes the balls of her feet into the woodchips beneath them and steadily pushes herself into a small swinging pattern.]

[He ignores her as best he can as he reads. The urge to snap her swing's chains with magic is almost overwhelming, but he doesn't do it. She's being quiet, for once, and not punching him, and he'll take that.]

[her swing really gets going, and in no time Minatsuki is pumping her legs and swinging higher and higher until -]

[well, she gets bored, and drags her feet in the woodchips, stilling her swing and peering over at him.]

...What're you reading?

[He gives her a sidelong glance, then turns the book so she can read the title: Advanced Potion Making.]

School shit?

Yes. And it's interesting.

Suuuure.

[flat and bored.]

If you ain't got nothing else to do. Don't you got a life?

[He turns back to his book and turns the page.]

I do. And I find potions interesting.

So you don't want to make out or anything.

[FLATTEST OF FLAT TONES.]

[His head snaps up and he fixes her with an expression both shocked and repulsed.]

No.

Then why the fuck are you still here?

[she moves from her swing, standing and taking the step toward his to gently touch along his shoulders before giving him a push.]

[hold on snape. it was a hard push.]

[He collapses to the ground, face-first, his hands still clutching his book. Slowly, he wipes his face free of woodchips and spits one out of his mouth.]

What the hell was that for?

I was pushing you.

[that stupid, boy? really? THAT stupid?]

[tch.]

Get up. I'll do it again.

[He pushes himself off the ground, brushing dirt and wood chips from his robes. He gives her a nasty look, one that seems to be daring her to touch him again, but says nothing.]

[a dare? you're stupid enough to dare her, snivvles? how...well, how very stupid.]

[she smirks in return, taking a step forward and extending both hands to shove against his shoulders.]

[and sharply.]

[He moves to block her hands, but he's too slow and gets knocked down on his bottom.]

[which is her cue to plop down on his waist, straddling him and reaching to pin his arms at the wrist.]

[it's a regular school boy/girl brawl - WHICH TOTALLY MEANS THEY LIKE EACH OTHER; EAT DIRT, SNAPE - and she may not be the strong one, but she's resourceful enough to shift her weight to keep him under her.]

[other kids stare in awe at the big kids who ain't acting so big right now]

[He struggles beneath her, trying to free his hands. He can't get to his wand or strike back at her, and her smug smile does nothing but further infuriate him.]

Get...off...of...me.

[He does the only thing he can do pinned under her. He spits in her face.]
